HTML Extraction Tools
March 4th, 2007 by Andrew WellsThis tools makes extracting HTML from web URLs, eBay ME Pages, eBay Listings, and even external file easy.
This tool simply allows you to extract the html from 4 different sources. By using the extraction tools, you acknowledge that you have explicit
permission to be accessing the code from the specified locations. Remember, it is
against eBay’s policies to steal descriptions from other eBay sellers without
their permission. See below for each option.
- Item #: Extract the HTML from an eBay listing by inputting the item number. Only use this tool for your own listing or for a listing in which you have explicit permission to retrieve the html for editing.
- eBay ME Page: Extract the html from a user’s ME Page. All you need to know is the user id. Again, only use this tool for your own listing or for a listing in which you have explicit permission to retrieve the html for editing.
- Web URL: Extract from any web address.
- Text File: Allows you to upload a text file for the purpose of sending to the practice area.
Once you submit the data to retrieve the HTML, a text box will show with the code. From there, you can copy the code from the box, or save it to the practice area to share the link with others.
